KARWACHAUTH

IMG_4318So today is karwachauth and I am super excited about it and I am sure all you married women must be excited too! I love this day and him completely😊 I fast only once in a year that is during karwachauth. It’s this one day when my husband gets to be a VIP.

I love being completely festooned with attires, henna, wear sindoor and fast till the moon rises. Here are a few styling tips to make your karwachauth special! Most women love wearing the shades of reds, maroon, orange or pinks for this occasion. But you can opt for any color that makes you look good! If you are wearing your bridal lehenga, I would suggest you, do a saree style draping instead of front draping which will make you look not only stylish but will hide your belly fat (if you have any). You can add maang tika that will add the required charm to your face giving you a complete look. Go for stylish braids, if you are planning to knot your hair in a bun, fancy judapins will make your hairstyle look elegant. Go for winged eyeliners to give your makeup a finishing touch and not to forget the mangal sutra, bangles, sindoor and bindi to complete your look. So, keep these tips in mind, and feel gorgeous this Karwachauth as it is all about rejoicing in a good mood! Nothing makes women feel better than dressing up!

The modern woman in me surrenders to the moment when my husband pours water into my mouth I feel the affection in his eyes, when I touch his feet it revalidates the vows we made during our marriage. Every marriage requires surrender, acceptance, and faith. So, for me, karwachauth is all about love, faith, and togetherness! And also, a day to test my self-control!

Here’s the entire lookbook of my Karwachauth 2017.
